
A prestigious ceremony was held at Government Tafheem Ul Uloom Boys High School Banjonsa to swear in the newly elected executive body of the Banjonsa Development Council. The event was well-attended by a large number of council members and local community residents.
Brigadier (Retd.) Jamil was the chief guest, while the ceremony was presided over by the newly elected President of the Banjonsa Development Council, Sardar Zahid Mahmood. The event was moderated by the council’s General Secretary, Sardar Manzoor Hussain.
The ceremony officially began with a recitation of the Holy Quran by the newly elected Senior Vice President, Sardar Haleem Rafique. A Na’at (praise of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him) was then presented by Qari Khurshid Ahmed. Speeches were also delivered by Sardar Sajid Khan, Dr. Rukhsana, former BDC President Sardar Riaz Aslam, and Sardar Rashid Akbar.
In his address, the chief guest, Brigadier (Retd.) Jamil Khan, congratulated the new body and expressed his hope that the incoming executive members would play a positive role in the betterment of Banjonsa.
The newly elected President, Sardar Zahid Mahmood, in his speech, thanked every individual in Banjonsa for their trust and selection. He pledged that the new body would make every effort to transform Banjonsa into a model village. He also extended his gratitude to all the dignitaries who attended and thanked all the volunteers and body members for making the event a success.
